Booking Terms and Cancellation Policy

Bookings and Deposits

A 40% non refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings.

Dates are not guaranteed until the deposit has been received. If the deposit is not paid within the agreed time frame, the requested dates may be released and offered to another client.

Once the deposit has been received, your booking will be confirmed and the dates reserved exclusively for your pet.

Remaining Balance

The remaining balance is due within one week of the final day of the sit.

Payment details will be provided when the booking is confirmed.

Liability

While every effort is made to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your pets and home, Daisy & Dogs cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control.

Owners remain responsible for any damage or injury caused by their pets.

Meet and Greets

Meet and greets are offered free of charge for new clients.

This meeting allows us to ensure the service is a good fit for both your pet and the assigned sitter. The meet and greet will usually be conducted by the sitter who has been assigned to your booking.

Pet Behaviour and Safety

Owners must provide accurate information regarding their pet’s behaviour, health and care needs.

For the safety and wellbeing of our sitters, Daisy & Dogs reserves the right to terminate a booking or refuse services if a pet is aggressive, dangerous, or poses a risk to the sitter.

If a sitter feels unsafe or that their wellbeing is at risk during a booking, Daisy & Dogs reserves the right to terminate the agreement and remove the sitter from the property.

Our Sitters

Some services may be carried out by trusted subcontracted sitters who operate under Daisy & Dogs.

Clients book directly with Daisy & Dogs and all sitters work to the same standards of care and professionalism.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify Daisy & Dogs as soon as possible.

All deposits are non refundable.

If a booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the start date of the sit, the full remaining balance will still be required as the dates will have been held exclusively for your pet.

Emergency Vet Care

Clients complete a new client form before the booking which includes consent for veterinary treatment in the event of an emergency.

If a pet becomes unwell or injured during a booking and the owner cannot be contacted, Daisy & Dogs may seek veterinary treatment if it is deemed necessary for the welfare of the pet.

Any veterinary costs remain the responsibility of the owner.

Sitter Availability

In the unlikely event that the assigned sitter becomes unavailable, Daisy & Dogs will make every effort to provide a suitable replacement sitter.

We have a small group of trusted sitters in the local area, as well as an emergency sitter available where possible. This helps ensure continuity of care and provides additional peace of mind for our clients.

By booking services with Daisy & Dogs you agree to the following terms.
